Waka Flocka Flame shot in Robbery Attempt

Brick Squat member, So Icey Ent artist and Gucci Mane sidekick Waka Flocka was reportedly injured in a shooting on Old National Highway in Atlanta. Apparently Waka (born Juaquin Malphurs) was making a stop at a gas station when some unknown men approached him for his chain and fired shots at him when he refused, hitting him twice.

Shawty Redd Arrested on Murder Charge

Multi-Platinum Producer Demetrius "Shawty Redd" Stewart is in jail on a murder charge after being arrested New Year's Day.

From the Associated Press & Yahoo! News:

"Henry County Police Capt. Jason Bolton says Stewart was arrested Friday morning.

Stewart is accused of shooting 35-year-old Damon A. Martin of Detroit in an argument at Stewart's home in Hampton, about 30 miles southeast of Atlanta.

The 28-year-old Stewart is charged with murder and was being held without bond in the Henry County jail Saturday. His first court appearance is scheduled for Jan. 12. Police didn't know whether Stewart has a lawyer."

From what I read, the dude he shot didnt pull out a gun first or nothing... Shawty's got at least one track on Gucci Mane's "The State vs. Radric Davis" album, that track "Heavy"... plus he's done work with Gucci, Jeezy, Snoop Dogg & hella other major artists... First Gucci, now his damn producer gets locked up 1st day of the new damn year... smdh, pure talent just thrown away...

2009 = My Worst Year Ever

Yeah... so if you couldn't tell by the title... I for one, am definitely ready for this New Year to kick off....

Reasons why this Year completely sucked:

1) I lost a brother, a best friend, 2 cousins, and three other friends this year... (3 of them were just in the month of February)
2) MJ, Steve McNair & Chris Henry died... WTF! (see a trend?)
3) Matter of fact, WAY too many people died this year....

4) My revenue from beat sales were the worst they've been in 2 years (damn near when i first started)

5) Bow Wow signed to Young Money (wackness x wackness = wackness^2)

6) I think I slacked off on this blog like four times (this WONT happen in 2010)

7) I have to wait until this next year to cash in on all these fuckin tax writeoffs.
